Scale any car up or down as much as you want! This mod allows you to scale any vehicle from tiny to gigantic while keeping physics realistic. Weight scales with volume, engine power maintains power-to-weight ratio, and gear ratios adjust automatically. Perfect for creating hilarious and creative scenarios.
Created by Unknown Maker and released in March 2026, CarScaler is an experimental utility mod that lets you scale any vehicle in BeamNG up or down by up to 10 times its original size β while keeping the physics realistic. This is not a simple visual scale; the mod intelligently adjusts weight, engine power, gear ratios, and suspension to maintain a believable driving experience at any scale.
The scaling system works by adjusting weight proportionally to volume β a vehicle scaled to 2x size will weigh 8 times as much. Engine power scales to maintain the same power-to-weight ratio, ensuring that a giant car still feels drivable. Gear ratios automatically compensate for different wheel sizes, and the mod even saves your custom scales in vehicle configs so you can reload your creations later. Access the mod via Alt+Backspace to bring up an intuitive menu where you can drag sliders to adjust scale, or double-click to enter precise values.
CarScaler has some known limitations: vehicle props (steering wheels, pedals, driveshafts) are automatically removed at extreme scales to prevent physics instability. Very small or very large scales may cause suspension to feel softer or harder than expected, and manual transmissions can have trouble engaging at extreme sizes. The mod works in both single-player and BeamMP multiplayer, making it perfect for creative challenges with friends.
With 1,730 downloads and a perfect 5-star rating, CarScaler has quickly become a favourite among players who want to experiment with absurd vehicle combinations β imagine fitting a dump truck in the back of a Pigeon, or driving a Piccolina the size of a house. The mod is actively maintained, with version 1.0.2 (March 2026) fixing compatibility issues with certain vehicles like the FPU Wydra.
